This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-achieving Product Marketing team.
• Cultivate a collaborative, customer-centric environment while establishing clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Allocate team resources to advance commercialization priorities across the product portfolio.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of commercialization strategies for genomics and molecular diagnostics portfolios.
• Own the product positioning framework and cohesive communication strategy across products, campaigns, and customer interactions.
• Direct cross-functional go-to-market planning and lifecycle marketing strategies, encompassing positioning, messaging, launch strategies, sales enablement, and lifecycle marketing.
• Ensure successful commercialization through collaboration with Product Management, Commercial, Applications, R&D, and Operations.
• Oversee the creation of scientific content and technical marketing assets.
• Provide guidance on technical marketing priorities, including customer collaborations, technical data generation, and publication strategies.
• Maintain scientific accuracy and consistency in customer-facing marketing materials.
• Support digital marketing efforts, including demand generation, lead management, and e-commerce initiatives.
• Align commercialization efforts with portfolio strategies and product roadmaps.
• Offer strategic direction for partnerships with Marketing Communications, Sales, Applications, and Executive Leadership.
• Integrate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends into commercialization planning.
• Establish commercialization priorities and marketing investments to support portfolio growth.
• Monitor marketing performance and enhance programs using data-driven insights.
• Contribute to annual commercial planning and the ongoing improvement of marketing processes.
• MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Genomics, or a related scientific field is required.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or molecular diagnostics.
• 2–4 years of experience in people management with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated experience in leading product commercialization and product marketing efforts.
• Experience participating in or leading cross-functional new product development teams.
• Strong understanding of genomics, molecular diagnostics, or associated technologies.
• Proven experience in leading product commercialization and go-to-market initiatives in life sciences, biotechnology, or molecular diagnostics sectors.
• Strong scientific foundation with the capacity to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer value propositions.
• Excellent scientific writing, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Experience in developing product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and commercialization strategies.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Product Management, R&D, Applications, Commercial, Marketing Communications, and Executive Leadership.
• Strong customer and market orientation with experience integrating customer insights and competitive intelligence into commercial strategies.
• Data-driven mindset with experience in measuring commercialization effectiveness and marketing performance.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple strategic initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (both domestically and internationally).
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.
