This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Director of V&I Operations, Process, and Systems Lead.

• Act as a subject matter expert in Processes and Systems within the V&I GMVC Operations team.

• Aid in and propel the execution of the Medical Operations vision.

• Oversee critical V&I processes from start to finish to enhance operational efficiency and accomplish priorities and objectives.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, GMVC functions, IT, and external vendors/partners.

• Provide global oversight of processes and systems across Value and Implementation and various therapeutic areas.

• Work together with or directly manage Process and Systems Coordinators.

• Function as the Process & System Steward for multiple assigned processes and systems.

• Facilitate workshops with global stakeholders to design business processes and convert them into high-level system objectives.

• Collaborate with IT to assess and choose systems technology.

• Address complex problems and escalate risks and issues as necessary.

• Maintain up-to-date process and system documentation.

• Engage in governance meetings related to configuration changes and release management.

• Inform V&I priorities and keep the Road Map of Initiatives current.

• Drive global process improvement projects and formulate implementation plans for rollout.

• Develop and update training and maintenance reference guides and training materials.

• Comply with regulatory and compliance procedures in alignment with Global Compliance and Legal.

• Assist in investigations, audits, and assessments alongside the GMVC Standards Director.

• Monitor process modifications to ensure measurable benefits and objectives are achieved.

• Attend GMVC Operations Leadership Team meetings as a delegate for the Director when appropriate.

• Travel requirements: 25%


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare, along with 5 years of pertinent Medical Affairs experience.

• Proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders across various geographies, therapy areas, and functions to shape global process design and execution.

• Proficiency in leading process and systems workshops, interviews, and other methodologies.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

• Capability to work independently and appropriately escalate risks and issues.

• Documented success in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to learn quickly and tackle new problems requiring independent judgment and initiative.

• Skill in identifying efficient and effective methods to implement new services.

• Established ability to innovate and think outside traditional frameworks.

• Strong business acumen with the capacity to assess compliant, value-adding customer solutions.

• In-depth understanding of the environment, evolution, and global context of Medical Affairs.

• High personal integrity and strong ethical standards.

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform effectively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
