Associate Director of Admission – DMV Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee undergraduate recruitment and market development across the DMV region.

• Formulate and implement a strategic territory plan aimed at boosting prospective student engagement, applications, admissions, enrollments, and net tuition revenue.

• Establish and nurture relationships with prospective students, their families, high school counselors, community organizations, and alumni.

• Execute school visits, participate in college fairs, deliver presentations, conduct individual outreach, and engage in various regional activities.

• Guide prospective students and applicants through the entire enrollment process.

• Offer tailored admission counseling and evaluate applications.

• Ensure timely follow-ups and devise strategies to motivate admitted students to enroll.

• Organize and implement regional recruitment and yield initiatives and events.

• Work in collaboration with Enrollment Communications and campus partners on recruitment strategies, campaigns, and regional messaging.

• Track recruitment performance and analyze market trends.

• Keep precise student records in the University's CRM system.

• Assess application activity, enrollment conversion rates, priority-school engagement, and net tuition revenue to refine strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• One to three years of relevant professional experience in college admissions, student recruitment, or a related area.

• Excellent interpersonal, written communication, public speaking, and relationship-building abilities.

• Capability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and develop successful recruitment strategies while collaborating with a remote team.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to handle extensive regional travel and manage a high volume of student cases.

• Proficiency in CRM/database systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms, and associated technologies.

• Competence in engaging effectively with students, families, school counselors, alumni, colleagues, and external partners from diverse backgrounds.

• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States.

• Employment sponsorship is not provided.

• Regular regional travel and occasional evening and weekend commitments are required.

• Travel to Ohio Wesleyan University's campus in Delaware, Ohio, is necessary.
