This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Take ownership and manage a specific portfolio of payer and PBM accounts, acting as the main contact for daily payer interactions, relationship management, and resolving issues.
β’ Assist National Account Directors in engaging with payers and PBMs by providing data-informed insights.
β’ Represent Arrowhead in discussions with payer and PBM leadership, delivering insights on formulary, policies, and performance.
β’ Participate in payer and PBM industry conferences to collect market intelligence.
β’ Act as the primary source for payer formulary coverage, published payer policies, and utilization management criteria across various business segments, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid.
β’ Monitor and evaluate formularies and policy databases.
β’ Analyze pharmacy claims data to detect trends in prior authorizations, claims patterns, and rates of approvals and denials.
β’ Work with Trade, Distribution, and Patient Services to assess HUB and specialty pharmacy patient journey data.
β’ Create and distribute communications to the field regarding payer coverage achievements, policy updates, and analytical findings.
β’ Collaborate with teams across Market Access, Trade, Distribution, Patient Services, Sales, Commercial Analytics, and Finance.
β’ Ensure adherence to US healthcare regulations, legal standards, and corporate policies.
β’ Bachelor's Degree.
β’ 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, PBM, payer, or GPO sectors, with a robust background in market access analytics, payer policy, or managed markets.
β’ Proven ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights to guide payer strategies and communications.
β’ Capacity to build credibility and influence in a cross-functional manner without direct authority within a complex organizational structure.
β’ Self-driven and collaborative, capable of working with strategic independence.
β’ Strong executive presence and refined presentation skills, with the capability to confidently present to both internal senior leadership and external payer and PBM stakeholders.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel around 25% for payer and PBM meetings, industry conferences, and occasional visits to Arrowheadβs corporate headquarters in Pasadena, California.
β’ Current and valid authorization to work in the country where this position is based.
