Associate Director, IOT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Real Estate & PropTech domain, leading consulting initiatives and shaping the perspective of the practice.

• Facilitate CXO workshops, discovery sessions, digital maturity evaluations, and strategic advisory projects for clients in the Real Estate sector.

• Spearhead presales efforts, solution development, proposal crafting, business case formulation, and technology roadmap creation.

• Provide guidance to clients on portfolio modernization, Smart Building technologies, PropTech integration, sustainability strategies, and digital transformation efforts to enhance NOI, lower OpEx, and improve tenant satisfaction.

• Create reusable frameworks, accelerators, thought leadership materials, whitepapers, and industry insights.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, AI specialists, IoT experts, cloud professionals, and delivery teams to convert business requirements into effective technology solutions and ensure successful project implementation.

• Support governance, manage steering committees, and track outcomes for substantial transformation initiatives while representing the organization through client interactions, industry events, and practice development activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 13 years of total experience.

• Extensive knowledge in Commercial Real Estate (CRE), covering asset classes such as Commercial Office, Retail, Industrial & Logistics, Residential & Multifamily, Hospitality, and Mixed-Use.

• Strong comprehension of the complete Real Estate value chain, including Portfolio & Asset Management, Leasing, Property & Facility Management, CapEx Planning, Sustainability, Compliance, and Tenant Experience.

• Proven experience in leading large-scale digital transformation projects involving PropTech, Smart Buildings, IoT, Digital Twins, AI/GenAI, BIM, and Enterprise Real Estate systems.

• Practical experience with Property Management Systems (Yardi, MRI, SAP RE-FX), IWMS (Archibus, Planon, IBM TRIRIGA), CAFM/CMMS, and ESG/Sustainability solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to link business objectives to technology solutions, develop business cases, ROI models, and technology roadmaps.

• Experience in conducting CXO workshops, advisory projects, digital maturity evaluations, presales, proposal development, and consulting practice enhancement for CRE and Capital Projects Technology.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, consulting, communication, presentation, and mentoring.

• Familiarity with AI/GenAI, IoT, Cloud, Data & Analytics in the Real Estate sector is highly preferred.
