Associate Director, HR Operational Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance, and scalability within global payroll and HR service delivery.

• Implement a global transformation roadmap for payroll and HR services that aligns with the organization's objectives.

• Lead extensive change management initiatives to modernize processes and systems.

• Collaborate with technology teams to deploy automation, AI, and digital payroll solutions.

• Establish and oversee KPIs, SLAs, and quality benchmarks for payroll and HR service delivery.

• Promote continuous improvement utilizing Lean Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies.

• Ensure adherence to global regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.

• Work in conjunction with HR, Finance, IT, and regional teams to streamline processes.

• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership regarding payroll and HR operational strategies.

• Manage risk frameworks associated with payroll and HR services.

• Enforce internal controls, conduct audits, and perform forensic payroll audits to reduce compliance and fraud risks.

• Guarantee that payroll data conforms to security and privacy regulations.

• Champion the adoption of cloud-based HR solutions.

• Monitor accuracy, efficiency, cycle times, employee experience, and compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• MBA with 15 years of relevant experience.

• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, Change Management Professional (CCMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or RPA Certification.

• Agile mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with industry best practices and global processes.

• Capability to leverage AI skills and technologies to enhance automation and efficiency.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in designing and drafting policies, procedures, and job aid documentation.

• Skill in educating teams on new payroll processes and technologies.

• Understanding of global, regional, and local payroll regulations.

• Experience in establishing internal controls, conducting audits, and performing forensic payroll audits.

• Knowledge of GDPR, SOC 1, ISO 27001, and other security standards.

• Proven experience in leading the adoption of cloud-based HR solutions.

• Ability to monitor SLAs, KPIs, data analytics, accuracy, efficiency, cycle times, employee experience, and compliance.
