
Associate Director, Hematology Thought Leader Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +8 more states.
• Enhance and optimize interactions with prominent US hematology thought leaders at leading academic institutions and community practices.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and members of the Oncology/Hematology Leadership Team.
• Participate in strategic conversations with designated key thought leaders to collect insights and disseminate clinical information.
• Engage in substantial business discussions concerning on-label product details, disease states, and general corporate overviews.
• Propel strategic engagements with thought leaders utilizing a customer-focused, needs-driven approach.
• Organize thought leader interactions for senior executives during conferences and in day-to-day operations.
• Create and sustain a roster of key thought leaders within the designated region.
• Assist in the development of thought leaders.
• Aid in the placement and execution of the speaker bureau program, including the identification of potential speakers, managing speaker training logistics, and providing constructive feedback to enhance presentation effectiveness.
• Convey insights from thought leader interactions to Marketing and other departments.
• Support the planning of regional and national advisory boards, recommend prospective participants, and coordinate the involvement of selected thought leaders.
• Ensure that all interactions and activities with thought leaders adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance guidelines.
• Must reside in one of the following states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky.
• Must be willing to travel 60%-80% of the time within the territory.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A master’s degree or other advanced education/certification is a plus.
• At least 10 years of work experience in two or more relevant fields, including Thought Leader Liaison, field sales, inline or regional brand marketing, or pertinent medical/clinical experience.
• Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals or biopharmaceuticals.
• Strong preference for experience in hematology/oncology markets.
• Proven expertise in pharmaceutical industry marketing strategies.
• Preferred experience with physician-administered biologics.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Experience in project management.
