This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as a strategic business partner for the North America Commercial and Medical Affairs Field Leadership teams.
• Assist in supporting functional priorities and execution through platform and technology services.
• Develop and implement roadmaps for Field insights solutions in collaboration with local stakeholders.
• Facilitate and utilize AI solutions in field tools to generate rapid insights and automation.
• Convert local execution strategies into requirements for customer and business insights.
• Collect business requirements and collaborate with platform owners and vendors to provide solutions.
• Manage reporting operations and ensure data quality for business insights.
• Lead resource allocation and prioritization efforts across various regions.
• Work together with vendors, developers, and stakeholders throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Foster adoption and confidence in Field Tools and technology platforms.
• Co-lead the development of training curricula and monitor the utilization of tools.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance territory management, engagement planning, performance tracking, and business reviews.
• Identify opportunities for automation within manual business processes.
• Coordinate enhancements across Sales, Market Access, Regional Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
• Supervise release planning, compliance and data privacy reviews, hyper-care support, communications, training, office hours, and change management.
• Promote standardization of Field Tools and functionalities across different markets.
• Organize initiatives that involve multiple functions and technology teams as well as stakeholder groups.
• Establish project management practices, manage interdependencies, and prioritize resources effectively.
• Oversee technical operations and field support, including access management, platform availability, refreshes, inquiries, communications, outages, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Work with Marketing Promotions teams to ensure digital content and multimedia are accessible to field teams.
• Lead technical data operations and stewardship, including territory changes, IC credit reassignment, and affiliation changes.
• Build a support team and establish service level agreements (SLAs) and frameworks.
• Ensure the integrity, consistency, and quality of reporting and ad hoc analytics layers.
• Enable self-service analytics and facilitate custom report development.
• Collaborate on secondary data requirements and organize related training and awareness initiatives.
• Maintain alignment with business leaders regarding strategic priorities and emerging needs.
• Advocate for best practices in platform enhancement and software development lifecycle processes.
• Ensure operational reliability and readiness prior to production through quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing support, and production transition reviews.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of Commercial and Medical Affairs business applications and technology solutions.
• Strong team management skills, both direct and within a matrix structure.
• Solid data knowledge paired with pharmaceutical business acumen and technical aptitude to define and advance commercial solutions.
• Familiarity with best practices in Technology Product Management and Technical Product Support.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment catering to a substantial number of Field users.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Capability to coordinate needs assessments across the commercial organization and deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Ability to thrive within a matrixed environment and build strong relationships across the organization.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills along with a solid business acumen.
• Proficient in managing and provisioning large datasets to facilitate high-performance business analysis with trust.
• Ability to convey complex technical problems and solutions to a broad business audience while communicating the value of solutions.
• Skilled in identifying operational weaknesses and implementing corrective actions or plans.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop others.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
• Estimated travel of 10–15%, primarily for key planning sessions, workshops, or major launch initiatives.
• Non-commercial roles are eligible for an annual bonus plan.
