This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Develop the vision, strategy, and governance framework for field reimbursement support related to individualized oncology therapies.
• Outline the FRM operating model, prioritize engagement, and create a reimbursement education strategy along with a training approach and field support capabilities.
• Tackle patient access challenges, reimbursement issues, and provider support needs specific to the treatment journey.
• Determine FRM targeting, engagement triggers, and field priorities.
• Create non-promotional resources for reimbursement and access, such as discussion guides, educational materials, prior authorization tools, denial and appeal resources, and office workflow materials.
• Design and implement comprehensive FRM training strategies.
• Establish brand-specific engagement protocols, support priorities, escalation pathways, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with Data & Technology teams on CRM functionalities, field visibility tools, reporting solutions, and innovative technologies.
• Work with field commercial leadership to clarify FRM engagement expectations, priorities, and support activities.
• Utilize insights from field, reimbursement, provider, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and underlying causes.
• Convert insights into actionable recommendations that enhance field effectiveness, patient access, and provider experience.
• Partner with Market Access, Field Commercial Leadership, Patient Engagement Center of Excellence, and external collaborators.
• Report directly to the Director, Patient Support Strategy Lead.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA/BS).
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, market access, reimbursement, patient services, field reimbursement, or related commercial areas.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing field reimbursement, patient access, reimbursement support, or provider engagement strategies and programs.
• In-depth understanding of buy-and-bill reimbursement, medical benefit coverage, payer dynamics, benefits investigation and verification, prior authorization, appeals, and provider access workflows.
• Experience in crafting reimbursement education strategies, field engagement methods, training programs, and non-promotional access resources for providers and treatment facilities.
• Background in establishing field engagement models, business rules, and support strategies that align with customer needs, brand goals, and operational capabilities.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate uncertainties, address complex operational challenges, and translate strategy into action.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to influence decisions and foster alignment across a complex matrix organization.
• Familiarity with Brand Strategy, Clinical Outcomes, Customer Marketing, Direct Marketing, Engagement Marketing, Engagement Strategies, External Partners, Market Access, Marketing Program Management, Media Strategies, Oncology, Patient Engagement, Performance Evaluation Management, Product Launch Support, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Decisions, and Strategic Thinking.
