Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs – Hematology

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Exchange scientific data and medical insights with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), researchers, pharmacists, and decision-makers in population health.

β€’ Exhibit a thorough understanding of B-Cell Malignancies, including Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) and Multiple Myeloma, in alignment with strategic medical objectives.

β€’ Identify and maintain relationships with medical and therapeutic area experts, as well as investigator targets and action plans.

β€’ Establish, nurture, and sustain relationships with KOLs in the field of Hematological Malignancies.

β€’ Serve as the primary clinical and scientific resource for information related to disease states and products.

β€’ Engage in the development and management of clinical trials sponsored by the company.

β€’ Build scientific relationships with investigators and internal Medical Affairs, supporting the investigator-initiated study concept program.

β€’ Identify insights into research and the treatment landscape to inform medical strategy.

β€’ Recognize research gaps and create opportunities in collaboration with investigators and site personnel.

β€’ Address information requests and present or discuss scientific and clinical data effectively.

β€’ Attend medical conferences to gather and report on scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence.

β€’ Uphold company policies, procedures, principles, and financial controls with professionalism and integrity.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A terminal scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or DVM) is mandatory.

β€’ A minimum of 8 years of experience is required, with at least 4 years in a Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison role.

β€’ Comprehensive knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharmaceutical regulations and compliance practices, as well as OIG guidelines.

β€’ Residency in the designated territory is essential.

β€’ A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

β€’ Preferred candidates will have established relationships with KOLs and institutions focused on Hematologic Malignancies.

β€’ Experience with drug launches is preferred.

β€’ Ability to travel frequently for business, approximately 70% of the time, which includes air travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekend travel.
