Associate Director – Enterprise Warehousing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee warehouse operations across multiple sites, including plant-attached warehouses and third-party logistics (3PL) distribution centers.

• Achieve operational excellence in safety, service, cost, and quality.

• Ensure compliance with standardized operating models, processes, and systems.

• Enhance inventory management, throughput, labor productivity, and service performance.

• Take ownership of the transition and governance of plant warehouse reporting structures into Logistics.

• Establish accountability, standardize roles and operating rhythms, and implement financial ownership mechanisms.

• Manage the operational and strategic relationships with regional 3PL partners.

• Develop service-level agreements, cost expectations, KPI governance, and corrective actions.

• Oversee warehouse performance metrics and lead operating reviews, root cause analysis, and action planning.

• Manage the regional warehouse operating budget and conduct financial reviews, variance analysis, and forecasting.

• Deliver productivity savings and improvements in cost-to-serve.

• Identify operational enhancements and support network optimization, automation, and system improvements.

• Collaborate with Plant Operations, Transportation, DSD, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, and Logistics teams.

• Lead and mentor multi-site warehouse leaders through performance management, talent development, and succession planning.

• Cultivate a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations or logistics.

• Experience in managing multi-site operations, including 3PL environments.

• Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.

• Proven leadership capabilities in a matrixed, geographically diverse organization.

• Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, or regulated environments.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP EWM and analytics tools.

• Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement certification.
