
Associate Director, Digital Product Operations – Measurement & Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the enterprise measurement strategy for the adoption of the Digital Product Operating Model, product management maturity, team health, and the quality of product artifacts.
• Convert the priorities of the Product Management Hub into measurement frameworks, maturity models, executive reporting methodologies, and continuous improvement roadmaps.
• Establish standards, dimensions, and indicators for adoption, maturity, artifact quality, operational health, and realized value.
• Address ambiguous measurement challenges, validate assumptions, and identify which signals deserve investment and leadership focus.
• Oversee the strategy and development of DPOM dashboards, scorecards, reporting systems, and executive presentations for MBRs, QBRs, and other enterprise timelines.
• Collaborate with analytics, technology, reporting, and product operations teams to create scalable and trustworthy reporting solutions.
• Synthesize quantitative data, qualitative insights from the field, artifact assessments, and leadership feedback into findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.
• Develop narratives suitable for leadership for the Product Management Hub, including the VP of Product Management, CTO, technology leaders, and business executives.
• Highlight cross-product dependencies, barriers to adoption, maturity gaps, and opportunities to enhance DPOM effectiveness.
• Conduct assessments of product management maturity focusing on outcome orientation, roadmap quality, OKR quality, decision-making, discovery, prioritization, value measurement, and lifecycle management.
• Detect recurring maturity gaps, anti-patterns, adoption hurdles, and capability requirements.
• Collaborate with Digital Product Management Catalysts to transform field insights into enterprise-wide learning.
• Convert findings regarding maturity and artifact quality into standards, playbooks, templates, training, workshops, coaching methodologies, and enablement resources.
• Integrate measurement and reporting into enterprise operational rhythms and suggest quarterly and annual focus areas.
• Advise senior partners across product, technology, business, analytics, reporting, and enablement functions.
• Ensure measurement decisions are based on fit-for-purpose data, robust instrumentation, reliable metrics, and clear limitations.
• Address concerns related to data quality, access, privacy, security, regulations, responsible AI, and governance.
• Identify opportunities for AI-native, generative AI, and automation in measurement, analysis, reporting, artifact review, and leadership presentation preparation.
• Manage intricate cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, mentor product managers, formalize effective practices, and contribute to product management standards.
• Doctorate degree and 3 years of experience in Digital Product, Product Management, Product Leadership, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or a related field, or
• Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience, or
• Associate degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or
• High school diploma/GED and 14 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in directly managing individuals and/or possessing leadership experience in guiding teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in product operations, digital product management, product analytics, enterprise measurement, business reporting, digital transformation, technology strategy, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience managing complex, high-priority product, operating model, measurement, or transformation issues that involve multiple teams or organizational areas is preferred.
• Proven experience in shaping measurement strategies, maturity models, adoption frameworks, scorecards, executive dashboards, or reporting systems is preferred.
• Deep understanding of product management practices, including roadmaps, OKRs, product charters, product strategy, discovery, prioritization, value measurement, lifecycle management, and product operating models is preferred.
• Ability to merge quantitative data, qualitative insights, artifact reviews, and stakeholder perspectives into findings, narratives, and recommendations is preferred.
• Strong analytical judgment and capability to differentiate between activity, compliance, and output measures versus meaningful indicators is preferred.
• Experience guiding senior cross-functional partners in complex enterprise settings is preferred.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, Jira Align, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, ChatGPT, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Capacity to influence without formal authority and navigate significant trade-offs is preferred.
• Experience mentoring product managers or cross-functional partners and contributing to product management communities, standards, playbooks, or enablement initiatives is preferred.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity, managing dependencies, and enhancing reporting practices is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-native product development, generative AI workflows, responsible AI principles, and AI applications in product management and operations is preferred.
