This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the engagement strategy and enablement capabilities for Lilly's CMH digital influencer stakeholder ecosystem.
• Convert external signals into actionable recommendations, practical frameworks, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Comprehend partnerships and interactions with Digital Opinion Leaders while mapping best practices and appropriate usage.
• Ensure that engagement with Digital Opinion Leaders honors their independence and educational objectives.
• Identify emerging digital voices and outline effective engagement strategies.
• Supervise the stakeholder engagement utilization strategy across all sectors.
• Grasp and triangulate stakeholder preferences, business strategies, and compliance requirements.
• Define identification and prioritization criteria in collaboration with Ecosystem Intelligence and AI & Technology leads.
• Translate Digital Opinion Leader stakeholder insights into recommendations regarding engagement priorities.
• Establish connections with top global stakeholders and maintain oversight of strategic relationships.
• Act as an internal expert on effective engagement with various stakeholder types.
• Design, pilot, and assess new engagement methods.
• Codify successful pilots into scalable frameworks, playbooks, and operational guidance.
• Scan the external environment for innovative engagement models and emerging best practices.
• Develop and uphold engagement frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks.
• Integrate compliance guardrails and accountability standards into frameworks.
• Design and conduct stakeholder-category training.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and practical support for teams implementing frameworks.
• Draft essential communications for stakeholders.
• Assist in executive engagement preparation by identifying new stakeholders and opportunities.
• Monitor engagement outcomes against metrics such as relationship depth, insight quality, co-creation output, and practice impact.
• Report results and suggestions for improvement to the Engagement Strategy lead and cross-functional partners.
• Develop and execute a cross-functional stakeholder utilization strategy.
• Collaborate with U.S. and IBU affiliates to align stakeholder needs and optimal usage.
• Manage lists of frequently utilized stakeholders and ensure teams comprehend use cases.
• Work alongside a project manager to track activities against strategy and utilization requirements/cap.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare external engagement, medical affairs, marketing, digital strategy, digital marketing, medical communications, or communications roles.
• Proven ability to transition from analysis to clear recommendations in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
• Demonstrated strategic judgment in defining new approaches where precedents are limited.
• Capability to synthesize complex inputs into a clear perspective for senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in driving alignment across multiple functions with various priorities and levels of familiarity.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with digitally sophisticated external stakeholders as well as medical affairs and compliance teams.
• Ability to define excellence in emerging areas and translate it into practical frameworks, expectations, and actions.
• Hands-on experience in developing Digital Opinion Leader or digital influencer engagement programs.
• Understanding of the digital medical education ecosystem.
• Deep familiarity with social media and digital health content creation.
• Familiarity with social media analytics, social listening tools, and digital engagement metrics.
• Comfort in leading through ambiguity and rapid change.
• Background in medical communications, medical education, or health content strategy.
• Experience with social listening and NLP-based content analysis tools, such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, Sprinklr, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with digital engagement platforms, including virtual advisory tools, expert network platforms, community platforms, or content collaboration tools.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks governing pharmaceutical companies' interactions with healthcare professionals on social media and digital platforms.
• Background in cardiometabolic, obesity, or diabetes therapeutic areas.
• Familiarity with non-U.S. digital ecosystems, especially WeChat/DXY in China, LINE in Japan, and Coliquio/regional platforms in the EU.
