This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute the oncology data partnership strategy for the organization.
• Identify essential data requirements across US Commercial oncology brands, functions, and key use cases.
• Develop, manage, and enhance strategic collaborations with external oncology data providers, platforms, and vendors.
• Advise on partnership decisions and business recommendations based on expertise in oncology data sources, vendor capabilities, limitations, and use cases.
• Oversee the monitoring of data quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards for external oncology data sources, platforms, and vendors.
• Work in conjunction with data vendors, business stakeholders, analytics teams, field enablement, access, and cross-functional oncology teams to resolve data quality issues and communicate necessary changes.
• Supervise external oncology data partnerships, including data standards, data-sharing agreements, governance expectations, and adherence to internal policies.
• Implement data stewardship practices across various platforms, vendors, and technological solutions.
• Track and manage oncology data partnerships and associated expenditures.
• Provide performance metrics and governance reports to senior leadership.
• Discover opportunities for operational efficiencies, improved governance, and enhanced collaboration.
• Comprehend oncology business requirements, recommend pertinent data sets, and guide teams in deriving actionable insights.
• Offer continuous data advisory support regarding recurring deliverables, data interpretation, availability, limitations, and appropriate usage of rare disease data.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 6+ years of experience in establishing and managing data partnerships, particularly focusing on oncology, healthcare data, data governance, data management, or related fields.
• Prior experience working with or for a data vendor, data provider, healthcare data platform, or analytics organization is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of oncology data assets, including data sourcing, data coverage, refresh cadence, linkage, quality considerations, and suitable business use cases.
• Expert knowledge of data partnership principles, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards concerning healthcare data privacy, security, quality, compliance, and appropriate usage of oncology data.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and change management competencies in a complex organizational setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to evaluate vendor data quality, identify data gaps, manage risks linked to external data partnerships, and ensure the integrity, security, and quality of shared data.
• Experience with IQVIA, Komodo, MMIT, Symphony, Definitive Healthcare, Veeva, Flatiron, or comparable healthcare and oncology data sources is highly desirable.
• Capability to translate oncology business needs into data solutions and assist teams in selecting and utilizing suitable data sets.
