This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create a strategic framework for Celcuity’s congress and conference initiatives across key Tier 1 and sales-led conferences.
• Direct the strategic and tactical planning as well as execution of Tier 1 and Tier 2 medical congresses, including ASCO, ESMO, SABCS, JADPRO, and ONS.
• Formulate and implement congress strategies that align with commercial, medical, and corporate goals.
• Act as the primary congress lead and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to establish congress objectives, priorities, and program requirements.
• Foster alignment, decision-making, and accountability among stakeholders.
• Oversee the design of exhibits/booths, activation planning, and overall congress presence.
• Manage congress logistics, including exhibit space, housing, meetings, events, and onsite operations.
• Ensure smooth onsite execution and proactively address operational risks.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with professional societies, conference organizers, and industry partners.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Celcuity’s visibility, engagement, and reputation at scientific gatherings.
• Supervise convention agencies and external vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Develop and oversee congress budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Establish and uphold congress planning standards, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide guidance and support for sales-led conference activities.
• Evaluate congress performance and suggest improvements for future investments and outcomes.
• Promote continuous improvement through process optimization, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Ensure congress activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• At least 8+ years of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale medical congresses and exhibit programs.
• Understanding of exhibit booth asset management for large, medium, and small portable setups.
• Strong skills in project management, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Solid comprehension of the pharmaceutical environment.
• Ability to take initiative regarding congress planning.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple complex projects at the same time.
• Willingness to travel and provide onsite leadership for congresses and events as necessary.
• Preferred: Knowledge of the oncology/breast congress landscape, both in the US and internationally.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in a relevant field.
• Preferred: Certification in CTSM, HMCC.
