This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
β’ Identify, qualify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for Protected Communications, including Nuclear C3, National C3, and related markets.
β’ Lead capture teams through the processes of opportunity identification, qualification, competitive positioning, strategy formation, and proposal preparation.
β’ Establish and nurture customer relationships.
β’ Create and implement contact strategies, including engagements with senior executives.
β’ Provide guidance to the organization on DoD and National Communications CONOPS, encompassing satellite and terrestrial communication systems.
β’ Work in partnership with program management and engineering to devise solutions for complex customer challenges.
β’ Formulate pursuit and account strategies.
β’ Deliver accurate and timely forecasts for orders.
β’ Determine the most critical requirements of customers.
β’ Conduct price-to-win and competitive assessments for pertinent pursuits.
β’ Foster relationships with industry partners.
β’ Suggest alliances, teaming arrangements, and acquisition strategies.
β’ Act as the primary consultant and spokesperson, both internally and externally, regarding policies, programs, capabilities, and long-term objectives for modernized and resilient communication systems.
β’ Travel approximately 25β30% of the time.
β’ Typically requires a University Degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
β’ An active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to the start date.
β’ U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
β’ Familiarity with current NC3 systems, National Leadership Command Capability, and Senior Leader Communications capability.
β’ Extensive knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) products, particularly Military Satcom.
β’ Experience with USSPACECOM, USSTRATCOM, OSD A&S, Service Headquarters (OPNAV/SecNav or HAF/SAF), or Joint Staff.
β’ Desired experience with the DoD budget process and DoD acquisition requirements process.
β’ Preferred knowledge and experience with Foreign Military Sales.
β’ Capability to work in a U.S.-based role.
β’ Travel expectation of 25β30%.
