This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for Protected Communications, encompassing Nuclear C3, National C3, and related markets.
• Lead capture teams in the processes of opportunity identification, qualification, competitive positioning, strategy formulation, and proposal development.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships.
• Create and implement contact plans, which include engagements with senior executives.
• Provide guidance to the organization on DoD and National Communications CONOPS, including satellite and terrestrial communication systems.
• Work in collaboration with program management and engineering teams to devise solutions for complex customer challenges.
• Formulate pursuit strategies and comprehensive account strategies.
• Deliver precise and timely orders forecasting.
• Recognize and prioritize customers’ key requirements.
• Offer price-to-win and competitive analysis for relevant pursuits.
• Foster partnerships with industry collaborators and suggest alliances, teaming arrangements, and acquisitions.
• Act as the primary consultant and spokesperson, both internally and externally, on significant policies, programs, capabilities, and long-term goals related to modernized and resilient communication systems.
• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of experience.
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Familiarity with current NC3 systems, National Leadership Command Capability, and Senior Leader Communications capability.
• In-depth knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) products, particularly Military Satcom.
• Experience with USSPACECOM, USSTRATCOM, OSD A&S, Service Headquarters (OPNAV/SecNav or HAF/SAF), or Joint Staff.
• Desired experience with the DoD budget process and DoD acquisition requirements process.
• Preferred knowledge and experience with Foreign Military Sales.
• Expected travel of 25–30%.
