Associate Director, Automotive Enterprise Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct impactful product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical workshops for automotive enterprise clients.

• Act as an expert in the automotive industry and technology throughout the sales and customer success processes.

• Design scalable solutions utilizing Polk Automotive Solutions, Pricing & Incentives, and Tierless Solutions.

• Convert technical features into clear, business-oriented value propositions.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to prepare for meetings, advance deals, and enhance customer retention.

• Gather customer requirements, technical specifications, and market insights for Product Management and Engineering teams.

• Contribute to the development of Solutions Engineering tools, processes, and best practices as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the industry, ideally in product ownership, pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical sales.

• Preferred background in automotive SaaS.

• Demonstrated success in influencing both technical and business stakeholders during complex sales cycles.

• Familiarity with consumer software products.

• Capability to master a complex product suite and communicate customer value to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong business insight and a proven ability to link technical solutions to return on investment (ROI).

• Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• A background in automotive knowledge is highly preferred.

• Experience in supporting multiple product lines is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on business requirements.

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory; an MBA or degrees in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related disciplines are preferred.
