This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the main point of contact between Revenue Cycle Operations teams and the designated client.
• Take the initiative to oversee the Revenue Cycle process while nurturing client relationships and strategies.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the client’s Revenue Cycle to ensure that KPIs and quality standards are achieved.
• Guide the Revenue Cycle leaders assigned at the CBO and/or client location.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, guidelines, and client policies.
• Identify opportunities for revenue cycle enhancements and formulate and implement improvement strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams that integrate solutions and services.
• Manage implementation projects and coordinate with client project directors.
• Establish and sustain relationships with key clients.
• Work alongside implementation and development teams to improve service delivery.
• Maintain the governance framework and meeting structure.
• Provide management and clients with reports and statistical/analytical data.
• Process month-end reporting for Guidehouse and the client.
• Review adjustments and authorize requests.
• Analyze accounts receivable, including aspects such as bad debt, aging, cash collections, payer realization rates, credit balances, denial trends, and critical denials.
• Oversee unbilled inventory and collaborate with the client and Service Center to meet objectives.
• Investigate and resolve denials with Service Center teams and the client.
• Deliver monthly performance evaluations and contextual insights.
• Create and execute plans aimed at enhancing billing performance.
• Conduct underpayment assessments alongside the Managed Care Department.
• Participate in client meetings, committees, and task forces.
• Recruit, assess, discipline, and separate staff as necessary.
• Monitor and report on daily/monthly productivity and quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance of team members with Guidehouse and client policies and procedures.
• Compile team member timesheets for payroll and oversee time-off requests.
• Provide support for Project Supervisors as required.
• Bachelor's Degree along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience can substitute for formal education or an advanced degree.
• Relevant background in a healthcare provider, payor, CBO, business office setting, or outsourcing firm.
• At least two years of experience in a leadership role.
• Leadership experience within a healthcare organization, preferably including a Physician/Faculty Practice.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare access management, billing, finance, and accounting principles.
• In-depth understanding of the physician revenue cycle along with its associated metrics and KPIs.
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
• Expertise in Word and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Skills in strategic planning, management, and implementation.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with senior management.
• Leadership qualities to drive change within complex organizations.
• Capacity to independently initiate and complete projects with minimal oversight.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
