This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee a team of up to 10 Admissions Counselors, including responsibilities for hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, development, and performance management.
β’ Inspire and motivate the team to meet enrollment targets that demonstrate year-over-year growth.
β’ Guide communication techniques with students and families through phone, email, SMS, and Zoom, while also emphasizing organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
β’ Ensure the Verto brand and university partners are appropriately represented through quality assurance and managerial oversight.
β’ Foster a positive and healthy team culture, actively working to prevent burnout in a high-volume setting.
β’ Directly assist students and families when management involvement is necessary via phone, email, SMS, or Zoom.
β’ Utilize data to pinpoint pacing risks and opportunities, developing strategies and executing them with the team.
β’ Implement process improvements to optimize workflows and scale Admissions operations.
β’ Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, often exercising influence without direct authority.
β’ Maintain Verto's Salesforce CRM, database, and dashboards.
β’ Ensure clear performance communication and maintain accurate, complete CRM records.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ Proficiency in English.
β’ Capability to work remotely; this role is fully remote.
β’ Willingness to travel for at least 2 - 3 weeks each year.
β’ Must reside in the US and work within a time zone that is within 1 hour of those in the continental US (GMT -8 through GMT -3).
β’ Prior experience in Admissions leadership, higher education, or sales management in an outbound call center is preferred.
β’ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with potential students and their families effectively.
β’ Self-motivated, self-directed, and goal-oriented.
β’ Ability to accept and apply feedback from leadership and team members.
β’ Competence in providing feedback to team members and ensuring high performance levels within the team.
β’ Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects simultaneously.
β’ Experience in managing a sales or customer service team (preferred but not required).
β’ Background in international travel or living abroad (preferred but not required).
β’ Must possess the legal right to work in the United States; Verto Education cannot sponsor visas.
