This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Oversee the examination, negotiation, and finalization of contract templates, processes, and negotiation criteria with clients.
• Conduct contractual risk evaluations and collaborate with the legal department during country-specific process enhancement initiatives.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions within established parameters and adhere to escalation procedures.
• Convey approved contract templates, processes, negotiation criteria, and client expectations to the designated team members.
• Guarantee collaboration and quality alignment with terms, conditions, processes, and client expectations.
• Identify and evaluate legal, financial, and operational risks.
• Serve as the regional liaison and escalation point with external clients for revisions beyond approved parameters and process deviations.
• Offer recommendations and alternative solutions for contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal functional departments on site initiation activities impacted by contractual obligations.
• Participate in departmental change initiatives.
• Perform periodic quality reviews and peer feedback assessments.
• Develop training materials for team members.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Over 5 years of pertinent experience or similar experience providing the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Equivalency may comprise a blend of suitable education, training, and/or directly related experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of contract law principles, including business, intellectual property, local tax, and stamp laws.
• Extensive knowledge of business, contractual, and financial principles related to service agreements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Capability to draft and negotiate contract provisions within the established parameters.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Profound understanding of clinical drug development and trial procedures within the pharmaceutical and/or CRO industry.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional customer-focused communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with automated systems and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
• Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis skills.
