This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure client files and documentation are accurately maintained in the Agency Management System.
• Draft professional business communications through letters, emails, and various other formats.
• Execute accounting and mathematical tasks, including invoicing and premium distribution.
• Oversee claims processes, relay claims information, and support insured individuals in collaboration with claims.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Advisors or Directors of Risk Management when requested.
• Support colleagues with client queries and processing of work tasks.
• Handle daily client account operations, which encompass policy assessments, modifications, updates, contract evaluations, certificate handling, renewal documentation, marketing efforts, negotiating insurance programs, surplus lines filing, lease evaluations, and financial statement reviews.
• Address client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt follow-up.
• Advise clients on coverage options and risks, recommending and securing additional coverage as necessary.
• Pursue referrals and develop new business opportunities utilizing the prospect database and automation tools.
• Build relationships with insurance company partners and comprehend carrier requirements.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance the organization, business unit, and processes; escalate issues and discrepancies to leadership.
• Acquire and maintain state insurance license(s) as mandated by the State Department of Insurance, or be prepared to obtain all necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Commercial Account Manager position.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities along with effective presentation skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Capacity to learn software programs used by the insurance company and the firm.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
