This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Assist Business Development Executives with their daily account management tasks.
• Organize and prepare for Quarterly Business Review Meetings.
• Document and provide thorough notes during client meetings.
• Directly oversee smaller client accounts.
• Aid the Lead Generation Manager in pinpointing global drug development targets.
• Investigate drug development pipelines and identify relevant contacts.
• Handle cold calls, mail campaigns, and marketing lead initiatives tailored to specific geographies.
• Discover and cultivate new clinical business opportunities.
• Research drug development firms and update records in Salesforce.com.
• Make outbound calls to companies involved in drug development, such as CROs, medical device manufacturers, animal health firms, and organizations in cell and gene therapy.
• Participate in client meetings and produce meeting minutes within two days.
• Follow up on information requests from clients and the Global BD team.
• Address inquiries through email, the website, phone calls, and during trade shows.
• Support attendance at trade shows when necessary.
• Coordinate PCI site visits, including room bookings, organizing attendees, and compiling materials.
• Attend PCI site meetings on behalf of the Business Development Executive when suitable.
• Assist in the submission of legal documents such as CDAs or MSAs to PCI and client legal teams.
• Capability to learn, comprehend, and retain information about PCI Clinical Services offerings.
• Excellent telephone presence for engaging with clients.
• Motivated, upbeat, and self-driven attitude.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage short to medium-term projects effectively.
• Willingness to work independently without supervision, including from home.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections.
• Interest in the healthcare industry.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience utilizing Salesforce.com software.
• Experience with outbound calling in any capacity.
• Capability to travel to client sites.
• Willingness to travel more than 40% of the time.
