Associate Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate daily with the client delivery team under the guidance of the Delivery Manager, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and risk assessment.

• Assist in client discovery workshops, challenge current processes, and pinpoint opportunities for Cytora to enhance value for the end user.

• Convert client business requirements into precise specifications, user stories, and process designs for engineering and product teams.

• Identify data inputs, system integration points, and exceptional scenarios early in the design process.

• Conduct comprehensive analytical reporting on product performance utilizing tools such as Thoughtspot.

• Design and optimize AI-driven workflows, including prompt strategies and effective analytical reporting.

• Enhance the efficiency of Business Analysis practices through AI by automating repetitive analysis tasks, expediting documentation, and improving insight generation.

• Ensure the quality of solutions through ownership of test strategies, acceptance criteria, UAT leadership, end-to-end scenarios, edge cases, compliance-sensitive flows, and validation of AI outputs.

• Work collaboratively within agile delivery teams to oversee priorities, risks, and dependencies.

• Monitor live solutions and improve performance through iterative enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis, with significant exposure to the insurance industry (underwriting, claims, policy administration, or distribution).

• Proven capability to facilitate client-facing workshops and influence senior stakeholders — possessing the confidence to constructively challenge established viewpoints.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools — including prompt engineering, developing AI-assisted workflows, and a solid understanding of LLM behavior and limitations.

• High proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

• Fluency in English.

• Proficiency in multiple languages would be advantageous.
