Associate Attorney – High-Volume Civil Litigation, Enforcement of Court-Awarded Attorneys’ Fees

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative of NWADV within the court-awarded attorneys’ fees enforcement team, managing proceedings across all Brazilian states.

• Examine court publications, input deadlines into the case management system, evaluate cases, compile reports, and adhere to deadlines.

• Revise calculations and subsequently reach out to opposing counsel to settle disputes amicably.

• Create defenses, appeals, and a variety of other legal documents.

• Manage debt recovery actions, which include enforcement proceedings, monitória actions, and collection lawsuits.

• Propel proceedings to enhance debt recovery efforts, including requests for SISBAJUD, RENAJUD, INFOJUD, SNIPER, and other similar actions.

• Oversee judgment enforcement procedures, including the preparation and contestation of calculations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of active registration with the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB/SP).

• Experience in high-volume law firms.

• Demonstrated experience in managing debt recovery actions.

• Expertise in judgment enforcement processes, encompassing the preparation and contestation of calculations, securing guarantees, and submitting challenges.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with intermediate Excel capabilities.

• Skilled in drafting defenses, appeals, and various other legal documents.

• Strong understanding of judgment enforcement proceedings, including the preparation and contestation of calculations.

• Exceptional writing and oral advocacy abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
