Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create effective case strategies that yield successful outcomes

• Manage court appearances, depositions, motion practices, and trials independently

• Oversee litigation processes from discovery to trial

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across various levels of experience

• Ensure consistent and professional communication with clients

• Foster and develop relationships with both existing and potential clients

• Mentor and support junior attorneys

• Engage in mediation, trial preparation, case strategy discussions, and client communications

• Work alongside seasoned trial attorneys while gaining greater independence

• Participate in team meetings, monthly Friday gatherings, social functions, and other collaborative opportunities

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a law school accredited by the ABA

• Active bar license in California

• 1–8 years of robust litigation experience, encompassing case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation

• Capability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery to trial

• Previous experience in insurance defense is preferred

• Knowledge of litigation timekeeping and billing systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Self-driven with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor
