This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily commercial operations for designated customers or growing accounts with support from the sales team.
• Act as the primary commercial contact and facilitate collaboration with Customer Service, Technical Services, and internal partners.
• Manage a specific portfolio of smaller or emerging accounts and increase responsibilities as capabilities advance.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with customers while gaining insight into their business objectives, operational context, and requirements.
• Organize and lead customer meetings, record customer requirements, and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance customer relationships and promote profitable account development.
• Collaborate with Species Specialists and Technical Services to align customer needs with animal nutrition knowledge and Zinpro solutions.
• Coordinate efforts with Marketing, Customer Service, Product Development, and other departments.
• Maintain monthly sales tracking, forecasting, and growth evaluations.
• Observe market dynamics, customer, and competitor activities, sharing insights with the sales team.
• Utilize company resources wisely, including travel expenses, marketing funds, and company-owned tools.
• Represent Zinpro at trade shows, association gatherings, and industry functions.
• Be prepared to travel domestically up to 50% and possibly work in various regions across the U.S.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in sales, internships, customer service, agriculture, or the animal industry.
• Proven interest in agricultural sales.
• Developing understanding of animal nutrition and the feed or livestock sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Eagerness, initiative, and a desire to learn through guidance, feedback, and practical experience.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, fulfill commitments, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Willingness to travel and maintain any necessary driving credentials for the designated location.
• Availability to work during core business hours and participate in after-hours and weekend calls, customer/client events, and industry occasions.
• Preferred: Prior internship or work experience in sales, agriculture, animal production, feed, or nutrition.
• Preferred: Experience in creating presentations, analyzing basic data, or utilizing customer relationship management tools.
• Preferred: Familiarity with the animal segment or geographic market relevant to the role.
