This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Manage a VIP portfolio consisting of around 12 high-value client accounts, develop strategies, conduct kickoffs, review deliverables, and oversee the client relationship from start to finish.
• Mentor and cultivate the skills of 2 to 3 Account Managers, assess their work prior to client submission, offer immediate feedback, and assist them in enhancing campaign quality and client interactions.
• Serve as the Quality Assurance (QA) checkpoint for your AMs' outputs, assets, copy, campaigns, and reports; ensure that no work is released without your approval.
• Leverage AI marketing tools to deliver high-quality results efficiently and instruct your AMs to do likewise.
• Thoughtfully escalate issues, highlight systemic challenges to your Director; address daily hurdles within your team.
• Set the standard; your own client work establishes the benchmark for what "excellent" looks like within this team.
• Engage in the recruitment and onboarding of new AMs as the team develops.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 years in digital marketing with practical experience in paid media (Meta/Google), SEO, email, and conversion-oriented landing pages. You have executed the work, not merely overseen it.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing full-funnel marketing strategies that yield measurable marketing ROI for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).
• A proven history of strong client retention and growth, fostering trusted, long-lasting relationships.
• Strong coaching abilities and a sincere commitment to developing others, with an interest in mentoring, training, or onboarding Account Managers.
• A collaborative and highly effective communicator, proficient and credible in leading senior client-facing discussions (kickoffs, strategy, reporting) as well as providing clear internal guidance.
• Comfortable navigating a comprehensive AI tool stack and AI-assisted marketing workflows, with the adaptability to quickly master new technologies.
• Able to work cross-functionally and take ownership of outcomes, acting as the primary Quality Assurance (QA) gate for team outputs.
• Technical, analytical, and results-oriented, possessing strong administrative and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote setting.
• As part of a diverse team, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Highly organized, administratively proficient, with solid writing, phone, and general communication skills.
• Experience in an SMB-focused marketing agency or SaaS environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Fluent in English; the majority of our clients are located in the US and Canada.
