Assistant Store Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to achieve optimal market penetration, store expansion, sales, and profitability.

• Provide daily guidance and maintain employee engagement.

• Collaborate with team members to advance company-owned store initiatives.

• Lead a successful team and assist the store manager in a dynamic retail environment.

• Oversee store operations to enhance sales, profits, and customer service.

• Recruit, coach, train, and motivate the crew team.

• Manage inventory protection, assets, operational challenges, and safety concerns.

• Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stockroom, and external areas.

• Implement NAPA operational and marketing programs while continuously enhancing processes and procedures.

• Foster customer relationships, assist with sales and service inquiries, and guarantee positive experiences both in-store and over the phone.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of technical or trade school courses or degree.

• Experience in the automotive after-market service industry or hobby/DIY field, or a willingness to learn all aspects of automotive.

• Strong passion for delivering customer care and developing long-term relationships.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and complex environment.

• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.

• Capability to lift 60lbs in certain situations.

• Background and/or enthusiasm for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farming, diesel, marine, or dealership sectors.

• Experience in parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• ASE Certifications are a plus.
