Assistant Manager – Payments Operations, Inward

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive processing of Outward and Inward Local/Cross Border Payments, including PO, DD, Vostro payments, and related investigations.

• Ensure the accurate and efficient handling of both inward and outward payments.

• Make prompt decisions on issues that arise under Central Bank cut-off constraints.

• Manage all customer salaries sent to or received from other banks, both inward and outward.

• Guarantee precise and efficient processing of Payments Products across the bank.

• Engage in bank STP and digitalization initiatives.

• Suggest and implement improvements in workflow for the Unit.

• Take charge of staff welfare, work-life balance, and training within the Unit.

• Participate in project meetings and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to address any blockers.

• Monitor regulatory enhancements and changes affecting remittances and coordinate with technology to ensure timely implementation.
