This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Execute transactions in accordance with SOP/OPM’s, UCP/ISBP/ISP, and relevant guidelines.
• Conduct sanction checks on associated parties in documentation.
• Oversee Trade Operations.
• Authorize and input transactions into the system, and prepare/authorize necessary SWIFT messages.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Team Head.
• Communicate errors and knowledge gaps to the line manager/team to resolve customer service challenges.
• Ensure that charges are collected to prevent revenue leakage.
• Verify that there are no outstanding reconciliation entries pending in Nostro or Internal accounts.
• Manage customer expectations, contribute innovative ideas, and engage in automation initiatives.
• Participate in team discussions and propose solutions to challenges.
• Implement solutions rapidly and collaborate closely with the onshore unit for smooth client delivery.
• Address audit findings effectively and in a timely manner.
• Guarantee efficient transaction processing, adherence to service standards, and high-quality service for both internal and external customers.
• Function as maker/authorizer for Import LG issuance, amendments, and cancellations, as well as similar processes for Standby Letters of Credit/Claims.
• Adhere to relevant manuals, practices, and procedures during transaction execution.
• Suggest actions regarding changes in laws, ICC rules, government regulations, and bank policies that impact import scenarios.
• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 9-12 years of pertinent experience in Trade Operations
• Expert-level understanding of Trade Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting entries and UATs.
• Familiarity with amortization principles
• Strong communication skills, team management, and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and effective interpersonal skills
