This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee approvals, payments, and other various activities in compliance with Bank internal policies, SOPs, and ICC guidelines.
• Authorize transactions within the processing system across different Trade Finance business segments.
• Execute transactions in line with SOP/OPMs and UCP/ISBP/ISP requirements.
• Conduct sanction checks on pertinent parties involved in documents.
• Manage Trade Operations effectively.
• Enter and authorize transactions while preparing and authorizing relevant SWIFT messages.
• Communicate errors and knowledge gaps to line management to resolve customer service challenges.
• Set and manage customer expectations while actively participating in automation initiatives.
• Engage in team discussions and offer solutions to operational challenges.
• Implement solutions swiftly and collaborate with onshore units for seamless client delivery.
• Address audit observations efficiently and promptly.
• Ensure effective transaction processing, adherence to service standards, and delivery of quality service.
• Act as a maker/authorizer for Import LG issuances, amendments, cancellations, and similar stages of Standby Letters of Credit/Claims.
• Follow procedures outlined in relevant manuals during transaction processing.
• Suggest actions concerning changes in laws, ICC rules, government regulations, and bank policies impacting imports.
• Take corrective and preventive measures based on customer complaints, operational errors, and quality/RCSA analyses.
• Propose modifications to SOP, OPM, and ADM to enhance service levels while maintaining necessary controls.
• Recommend training sessions and workshops to bridge knowledge gaps.
• Escalate errors, customer complaints, service deficiencies, and counterparty issues to management.
• Share responsibilities with senior colleagues while applying team management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in Trade Operations
• Advanced knowledge in Trade Operations.
• Proficient understanding of accounting entries and UATs.
• Familiarity with amortization principles
• Strong communication, team management, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to perform under pressure, along with excellent organizational skills and teamwork.
