Assistant Manager – Credit Relationship, Corporate & Investment Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Support financial analysis, credit risk evaluation, risk rating, and structuring of facilities for designated corporate relationships.

• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers.

• Engage with clients to prepare Credit Proposals, encompassing new proposals, annual renewals, and amendments.

• Coordinate with Credit Risk Management and the Compliance Unit to address risk and compliance inquiries.

• Evaluate deals, facility structures, credit products, and services with CIBG Relationship Teams/WRM.

• Offer business solutions that align with credit and operational risk guidelines and policies.

• Submit timely Credit Proposals while ensuring analysis quality is upheld.

• Confirm that proposal terms meet client expectations and oversee exposures, RAROC, and overall profitability.

• Follow up with the Credit Control Unit regarding monitoring mechanisms and the adherence to Lending Guidelines and Credit Policy.

• Review Early Alert situations and swiftly escalate them to the Direct Supervisor.

• In the absence of the Relationship Manager, take on the RM role and provide guidance to the team.

• Familiarize and comply with regulatory and legal frameworks, banking conventions, agreements, practices, and Mashreqbank policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams including CRM, IBG, TCM, and OPS, as well as external CIBG customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in credit/financial analysis at a similar level within banking and/or a related field.

• A degree in business/economics.

• Knowledge of the local market and a solid understanding of the bank’s products and operating systems.

• Exceptional command of verbal and written English.

• Proficiency in Arabic will be considered an additional advantage.

• Familiarity with banking laws and local regulations.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Must be a team player with experience participating in various banking initiatives and solutions.
