This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist instructional faculty by engaging with students in online classroom settings with a large number of participants.
• Evaluate student activity in discussions and assessments, providing responses in accordance with training and lead instructor feedback.
• Aid in managing communication between students.
• Refer unique issues to the lead instructor for resolution.
• Support grading tasks and offer constructive feedback.
• Observe student engagement levels and suggest strategies to enhance participation.
• Deliver tutoring, conduct live sessions, and provide additional student support as needed.
• Facilitate student outreach initiatives.
• Help create supplementary support materials, including documents, videos, and job aids.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Commit to a specified number of hours weekly and report to key faculty members within the assigned team.
• A Master's Degree in History is required, or a Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 semester or 27 quarter hours of graduate coursework in History.
• Professional certification in the area of specialty, if mandated by course credentialing standards.
• Relevant professional experience in the field of study is preferred and may be necessary depending on course credentialing requirements.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in online teaching is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to interact effectively with faculty, coaches, and learners.
• Proven time management skills.
• Strong abilities in relationship-building, customer service, and problem-solving.
• High attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.
• Experience accommodating a variety of learning styles.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning.
• Capability to access information via computer.
• Effective communication skills across all levels of management.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Reliable attendance record.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• High mental acuity.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
