This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist instructional faculty by engaging with students in online classrooms with a large number of participants.
• Evaluate student participation in discussions and assessments, responding in accordance with training and guidance from the lead instructor.
• Help manage communications with students.
• Elevate unique issues to the lead instructor.
• Aid in grading and offer constructive feedback.
• Monitor student involvement and suggest strategies to enhance engagement.
• Provide tutoring, live sessions, and additional student support as instructed.
• Conduct outreach to students as directed.
• Create supplementary support materials, videos, and job aids as requested.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
• Commit to a specified number of hours each week and report to key Faculty members within the assigned team.
• Support the Online undergraduate HIS110 class for the upcoming fall quarter commencing on October 5th.
• A Master’s Degree in History is required, OR a Master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 semester or 27 quarter hours of graduate coursework in History.
• Professional certification in the specific discipline, if mandated by course credentialing standards.
• Relevant professional experience in the field of study may be necessary depending on course credentialing requirements.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in online teaching is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with faculty, coaches, and learners.
• Strong time management capabilities.
• Skills in relationship-building, customer service, and problem-solving.
• Keen attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.
• Experience accommodating diverse learning styles.
• Comfort with technology to facilitate learning.
• Capability to access information via a computer.
• Ability to communicate effectively throughout the management hierarchy.
• Capacity to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Consistent attendance.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
