This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide coverage during short-term, surge, and on-demand scenarios driven by military requirements.

• Deliver personal financial counseling and management services to military personnel and their families at military installations.

• Conduct personalized counseling sessions, consultations, briefings, presentations, and referrals.

• Collaborate with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure that program objectives and installation requirements are fulfilled.

• Assist service members in creating spending plans for extended absences.

• Create and disseminate informational financial resources.

• Organize, promote, and conduct Personal Financial Management classes and workshops throughout the military lifecycle.

• Address requests for age-appropriate classes and seminars.

• Provide authorized virtual counseling via secure online chat, video, or secure video teleconference platforms.

• Manage duty-to-warn scenarios in accordance with DoD protocols.

• Communicate with leadership and engage in individual and group supervision.

• Share trends and installation challenges with leadership.

• Participate in in-services, training, quality improvement committees, and other contract-related activities.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• An Associate degree combined with 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

• A high school diploma plus 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 3 years of financial counseling experience is required.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required if specified by the contract.

• Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.

• Must successfully complete the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.

• Must possess one of the following credentials: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
