This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Formulate and oversee the strategic direction, intelligence, positioning, and account plans for AECOM’s DOD Army account.

• Recognize external market influences, competitors, small-business growth opportunities, and investment priorities.

• Establish opportunity targets, growth objectives, pipelines, and strategies for client acquisition.

• Collaborate with Regional Business Lines, Business Line Leaders, Regional Executives, and engagement teams.

• Track account performance, bookings, pipeline, projections, contract capacity, and portfolio quality.

• Review and refresh the Salesforce pipeline while ensuring capture plans for significant pursuits.

• Assist in teaming, negotiations, pricing, proposal evaluations, risk-management approvals, and federal compliance.

• Spearhead major proposals and devise strategies for contracts that are underperforming.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients while maximizing cross-selling opportunities.

• Supervise corrective actions, recoveries, client engagements, and overall client satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with FAR, participate in joint-venture boards, and evaluate CPAR reports and rebuttals.

• Address organizational conflict-of-interest issues and resolve business-line conflicts.

• Communicate account status, objectives, metrics, progress, and reviews throughout the National Governments organization.

• Advocate for the AECOM/National Governments brand, inspire teams, and support professional activities and paper development.

• Direct client relations, market analysis, strategy formulation, positioning, capture, and contract management globally.

• Lead and organize client engagement efforts to discover opportunities and secure task orders and new contracts.

• Assess AECOM team performance in delivering technical services and address client issues effectively.

• Collaborate across AECOM Business Lines and operational geographies to enhance account growth.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field relevant to AECOM’s Business Lines.

• Over 15 years of experience with US Federal government agencies in Architect-Engineering programs.

• A minimum of 6 years in a leadership position.

• Must be a US citizen.

• Willingness to travel throughout CONUS and occasionally OCONUS, based on project and opportunity requirements.

• Comprehensive understanding of consultative selling techniques.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Proficient negotiation skills.

• Expertise in managing projects for complex, multi-country, and multi-business-unit agreements.

• Familiarity with, or a readiness to quickly learn and adapt to, AECOM's complete portfolio.

• Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, is advantageous.
