This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Drive sustainable and reproducible growth of accounts for the DOD Army Team within National Governments.
• Develop and oversee strategic plans, account strategies, opportunity targets, pipelines, and growth objectives.
• Analyze market intelligence, external influences, competitors, and small-business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Regional Business Lines, Business Line Leaders, Regional Executives, and Engagement Teams.
• Monitor program/project opportunities and enhance portfolio quality across various regions and business lines.
• Maintain awareness of account performance and align bookings and pipelines with monthly forecasts.
• Review and update the Salesforce pipeline on a weekly basis.
• Formulate capture plans for significant pursuits and assist in teaming and negotiations.
• Coordinate with FBS and Marketing to facilitate risk management approvals, pricing, proposal evaluations, and federal requirements.
• Monitor contract capacity, program manager performance, subcontractor positions, and contracts that are underperforming.
• Lead and cultivate key client relationships while optimizing cross-selling opportunities.
• Oversee corrective actions and client recovery efforts to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure FAR compliance and participate on joint venture boards for larger programs.
• Review CPAR reports and rebuttals, assessing contract performance and risk.
• Resolve organizational conflict of interest matters.
• Communicate account status, objectives, and metrics up the National Governments chain.
• Lead business line reviews and client interactions.
• Promote the AECOM/National Governments brand and develop federal teams.
• Manage client relations, market analysis, strategy development, positioning, capture efforts, and client contracts globally.
• Develop and implement strategic and client account plans to meet annual targets and expand the program.
• Advocate for the assigned account across FMS, MILCON, SRM design, master planning, AE, environmental, energy performance, construction management, and construction quality assurance services.
• Collaborate across AECOM Business Lines and operating regions.
• Identify new opportunities and collaborate with others to secure task orders and contracts.
• Monitor AECOM team performance and address client issues.
• Report to an Account Director for the National Government’s Business Lines in DCS Americas.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field aligned with AECOM’s Business Lines.
• 15+ years of experience working with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs.
• 6+ years in a leadership position.
• US citizenship is required.
• Travel throughout CONUS and some OCONUS is required.
• In-depth knowledge of consultative selling techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Expert negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in project management for complex, multi-country, multi-business unit initiatives.
• Knowledge of and/or eagerness to quickly learn AECOM's comprehensive portfolio.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) is an asset.
