
Area Sales Representative, Neurovascular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Act as a member of the Sales team and report directly to the designated Area Sales Manager.
• Oversee sales and customer support in the designated territory.
• Achieve the sales objectives set for the assigned territory.
• Build and nurture relationships with physician clients and hospital staff.
• Assist the region in meeting growth targets.
• Identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential for each account.
• Set and accomplish annual sales goals.
• Create and execute sales strategies and tactics for both existing and prospective accounts.
• Analyze the territory to pinpoint key target accounts.
• Monitor competitor activities and collect marketplace insights.
• Collaborate on contracts, pricing, and vendor documentation for hospital and institutional clients.
• Implement launch strategies and conduct product introductions and training sessions for clients.
• Maintain clinical and technical knowledge through training, workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies.
• Prepare and submit reports by analyzing territory sales, customer information, and sales forecasts.
• Liaise with hospital staff and Scientia leadership.
• Adhere to company policies, hospital/institution guidelines, and professional conduct standards.
• Utilize independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
• A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with no experience required.
• Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools.
• A valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy.
• Experience in medical device sales, particularly in interventional stroke procedures (preferred).
• Experience selling medical devices in the Neurovascular sector (preferred).
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification meeting the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
