This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Enhance and sustain sales volume with both existing and new accounts for Universal Robots collaborative robots and MiR autonomous mobile robots.
• Take full responsibility for the assigned sales territory in New York State, overseeing all business transactions and relationships within the area.
• Collaborate with division management, support departments, distributors, integrators, OEMs, and other channel partners.
• Engage with Engineering, Maintenance, IT, Logistics, Management, and C-Suite stakeholders.
• Offer technical product information and educate partners about the market.
• Provide competitive insights and communicate new solutions from UR and MiR.
• Inspire partner sales teams.
• Own sales objectives and quotas within the designated region.
• Manage the opportunity funnel, forecasting, and action plans effectively.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and meet annual combined targets for UR and MiR; develop strategies to address revenue shortfalls.
• Engage in joint visits with distributor and omni-channel sales representatives.
• Support partners through customer visits, meetings, emails, PDRs, demonstrations, proposals, and pricing negotiations.
• Generate, initiate, and qualify sales leads in collaboration with the Inside Sales Team.
• Conduct regular business reviews with partners.
• Represent the product portfolio at trade shows and professional events.
• Stay updated on competitive products and market activities.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager, East.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher (BSEE or BSME preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 4–5+ years of experience in outside sales.
• Proven history of surpassing sales quotas.
• Demonstrated success in advising on or selling technical products.
• Experience collaborating with distribution and omni-channel strategies.
• Prior experience in industrial automation or solution/project sales involving technical products.
• Business acumen that resonates with senior management and technical support decision-makers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
• Must be available for overnight travel up to 50% or as needed.
• Candidates must be located in the NY (Syracuse area).
