This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives for the Hugo™ Robotic Assisted Surgery System.
• Market and sell the Hugo™ RAS System, including end effectors and related services.
• Construct business cases, perform total cost of ownership evaluations, conduct cost-per-procedure assessments, and negotiate contracts.
• Engage with budget decision-makers and hospital executives to facilitate purchasing choices.
• Design and present workshops, system overviews, proposals, and contractual agreements.
• Work in collaboration with internal teams to enhance robotic-assisted surgery prospects.
• Identify and rank market opportunities through comprehensive market analysis.
• Assist hospitals with the integration of the Hugo™ Surgical Robotic System.
• Foster long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital leadership.
• Coordinate efforts with Minimally Invasive Surgery specialists and technical support teams.
• Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the sales process and after purchase.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and sales projections.
• Secure substantial contracts and monitor sales performance metrics.
• Maintain technical expertise for product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer inquiries.
• Allocate significant time for fieldwork and frequent travel to meet with clients and colleagues.
• Promote and sell Medtronic medical/scientific equipment and services within designated accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with hospitals, physicians, and surgical and radiology staff.
• Pursue sales leads, evaluate needs, and deliver product services.
• Conduct market research and implement development strategies.
• Relay customer feedback to R&D, Operations, and Marketing teams.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience OR Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of experience in sales within a medical and/or operating room context.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex capital sales is required.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region (50% or more).
• Proficiency in surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery.
• Established network within surgical environments, operating rooms, and among surgeons.
• Strong commitment to ethical standards and compliance with company policies.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficient in modern computer applications.
• Experience operating within a matrix organizational structure.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is necessary at the time of hiring and throughout employment; sponsorship is not provided for roles below the Principal level.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification meeting the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
