This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Independently manage and enhance the designated sales territory.
• Provide support to current customers while seeking new business prospects within the truck tire sector.
• Oversee tire dealers, freight forwarders, and other significant customers.
• Foster long-term relationships with customers, establishing Michelin as a reliable partner.
• Assess customer needs and craft customized solutions for tires, services, and sustainability efforts.
• Assist companies in optimizing the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of their fleets.
• Spot market opportunities and engage in pricing and contract negotiations.
• Execute strategies to enhance revenue and profit margins.
• Continuously advance business development in partnership with Key Account teams.
• Represent Michelin at customer conferences, industry gatherings, and trade shows.
• Facilitate collaboration with internal departments to execute customer-centric solutions.
• Several years of experience in field sales.
• Preferably possess knowledge of the transportation, commercial vehicle, or tire sectors.
• Experience in technical B2B sales from other industries is also appreciated.
• Capability to establish and sustainably nurture customer relationships.
• Strong self-management skills and ability to prioritize various tasks.
• An entrepreneurial and analytical approach.
• Familiarity with sales KPIs.
• Proficient in Excel and Salesforce.
• Reside within the sales territory, preferably in Kaiserslautern, Landau, or Kusel.
• Willingness to travel for training and trade shows.
• Excellent German language proficiency (at least C1).
• Good command of English (at least B2).
