This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Generate new business prospects and enhance current customer relationships.
• Identify, prospect, and qualify potential customers along with market opportunities.
• Oversee and expand assigned customer accounts.
• Advocate for plastic injection molding, tooling, molds, components, and associated manufacturing solutions.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, tooling, operations, and program teams to create customer solutions.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and commercial information.
• Manage opportunities from the initial contact through to customer award and program launch.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial conditions within set guidelines.
• Keep track of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
• Maintain precise sales and customer records in CRM systems.
• Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful program execution.
• Achieve established sales, revenue, and business development goals.
• 5–8+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development in plastic injection molding, tooling, plastics manufacturing, or a similar industry.
• Proven experience in developing new business and expanding existing customer accounts in automotive and/or non-automotive sectors.
• Experience with OEMs, Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers, or automotive tooling and molding programs is preferred for automotive-centric roles.
• Knowledge of injection molding, tooling, molds, and/or plastic manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate new business and/or enhance existing customer accounts.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
• Capacity to comprehend customer requirements and convey technical solutions effectively.
• Results-driven with strong business development and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the United States and Canada.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales systems.
• Travel is a requirement for this role.
