This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Take charge of and cultivate the Portuguese market
• Discover and develop new business opportunities throughout Portugal
• Drive demand for Universal Robots and MiR solutions
• Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Manage the complete sales process from initial prospecting to final closing
• Present commercial and technical information to customers and partners
• Enhance and grow relationships with distributors, system integrators, OEMs, and automation partners
• Identify and onboard new partners within the territory
• Assist partners in developing and securing opportunities
• Conduct regular business reviews and joint visits to customers
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and partners in Portugal
• Comprehend customer challenges and pinpoint appropriate automation solutions
• Offer first-level commercial and technical support during the sales process
• Collaborate with engineering and application specialists on advanced projects
• Advocate for robotics solutions across various sectors including manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, logistics, warehousing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and consumer goods
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events
• Keep an eye on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
• Report directly to the Country Manager Iberia and collaborate closely with the Iberia team in Barcelona and specialists across Europe
• Demonstrated experience in technical sales, business development, account management, or a related commercial role
• Strong hunting mentality and enthusiasm for developing new business
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
• Capacity to work independently and manage a territory with autonomy
• Proficient in both Portuguese and English
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel extensively within Portugal
• Preferred: experience in industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing technologies, or intralogistics
• Preferred: understanding of collaborative robots (cobots) and/or Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)
• Preferred: knowledge of the Portuguese industrial environment
• Preferred: experience working with distributors and system integrators
• Preferred: engineering or technical background in automation, robotics, mechatronics, or similar fields
• Substantial autonomy and responsibility in a role with significant impact
