This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive revenue, utilization, and growth goals in the area by implementing sales strategies and territory plans.
• Support regional and corporate initiatives, including product launches, Impact program expansion, partnerships with National Accounts, marketing campaigns, and strategic priorities.
• Mentor Sales Representatives to enhance new business acquisition, customer retention, utilization growth, and expansion of Breg products and services.
• Review KPIs such as sales pipeline activity, utilization trends, business development, forecasting, retention, and profitability.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activities, and territory performance to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Coach representatives on pricing strategies and ensure adherence to pricing guidelines.
• Guarantee accurate reporting of sales activities, forecasts, territory prospects, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
• Promote the use of CRM, PowerBI, and reporting tools.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Sales Representatives across various geographical locations.
• Provide field support through ride-alongs, joint customer visits, business reviews, and coaching sessions.
• Set performance expectations and maintain accountability for sales goals, activity metrics, pipeline management, customer engagement, CRM utilization, and operational requirements.
• Conduct performance discussions, territory evaluations, and development planning.
• Ensure team members uphold technical, clinical, and commercial competencies.
• Act as an escalation point for account strategies, customer challenges, competitive situations, and complex sales opportunities.
• Manage expenditures for the assigned area while aligning them with budgetary responsibilities.
• Select, develop, and manage staff; ensure appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation.
• Perform administrative tasks related to timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration, and other related matters.
• Evaluate staff and provide feedback on technical proficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify work objectives and develop individual growth plans.
• Assess training programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, physicians, administrators, practice managers, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Participate in strategic customer meetings, business reviews, and discussions at the executive level.
• Collaboratively resolve customer concerns across departments.
• Ensure exceptional experiences for both customers and patients.
• Assist with territory alignment, resource planning, and market coverage evaluations.
• Support inventory management, compliance initiatives, operational consistency, and customer service standards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Impact Solutions, Revenue Cycle Management, Field Service, Field Inventory, Product Management, and other internal partners.
• Participate in trade shows, customer events, regional meetings, and activities with industry associations.
• Adhere to Breg policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), HIPAA, FDA requirements, and customer account procedures.
• Promote Breg's culture and exhibit accountability through the See it, Own it, Solve it, and Do it framework.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably in orthopedics, durable medical equipment (DME), sports medicine, or orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) fields.
• Demonstrated history of sales success.
• At least 1 year of experience in leading and managing geographically dispersed direct and independent sales teams.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain relationships with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Familiarity with standard workflows and procedures in orthopedic clinics or physician offices.
• Knowledge of orthopedic bracing and supply products along with applicable utilization procedures.
• Proficient in creating and implementing revenue growth plans.
• Understanding of healthcare reimbursement and insurance processes.
• Experience with Oracle, CRM, and PowerBI is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications including web browsers, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Experience with artificial intelligence productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Compliance with HIPAA, FDA requirements, Breg policies, SOPs, and assigned customer account policies.
