Area Sales Director – East

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing regional sales team to meet revenue and growth targets.

• Implement strategic sales initiatives that enhance market penetration, brand acceptance, and overall business performance.

• Establish and enhance relationships with key clients, strategic accounts, and executive stakeholders.

• Recognize market trends, competitive insights, and new business opportunities that facilitate regional expansion.

• Track sales performance and key business metrics, offering coaching and support to optimize outcomes.

• Utilize CRM tools, data, and analytics to drive sales processes and inform decision-making.

• Collaborate cross-departmentally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, and other teams to achieve business goals.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, reporting standards, and operational protocols.

• Provide regular business updates and insights to senior leadership.

• Travel frequently within the designated region to assist customers and team members.

• Proven track record of leading and developing sales teams in a field-based setting.

• Strong capabilities in strategic planning, account management, and business development.

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships at the executive level and influence key stakeholders.

• Experience in managing sales performance through KPIs, coaching, and data-driven strategies.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions.

• Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

• Fluency in both English and French, both written and spoken, is essential.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles.

• At least 5 years of experience in area or regional sales management.
