This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee the daily operations of several Air Methods bases in the Phoenix, Arizona region.
• Ensure that the bases are operational, maintain safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Foster a vibrant local culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
• Communicate effectively with base personnel regarding operational duties, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
• Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance profit contributions.
• Manage and oversee profit and loss (P&L), expenses, and payroll for the assigned bases.
• Schedule staff to guarantee full coverage, optimize in-service rates, and minimize overtime costs.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and Business Development to ensure adherence to policies and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, manage performance, and develop team members; address employee relations issues and handle low performance, including terminations.
• Coach and exemplify effective leadership behaviors.
• Supervise supply chain, logistics, maintenance, clinical activities, and associated expenses.
• Plan maintenance activities and spare part utilization in conjunction with maintenance leadership.
• Assist the Regional Director with customer scorecards and implement action plans accordingly.
• Maintain and review business, medical, and other necessary licenses while ensuring compliance with DOT and non-DOT regulations.
• Coordinate the initiation, relocation, closure, repair, maintenance, and lease management of bases.
• Directly supervise employees within the designated area, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving complaints and problems.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in clinical, aviation, or maintenance roles, accompanied by a strong leadership background and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred.
• Strong background in leadership.
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills at all levels.
• Proficient in critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to efficiently multitask and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in managing revenue and budgets.
• Competence in preparing written reports.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Availability for operational demands 24/7.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% or more based on business needs.
• Regular attendance is a vital aspect of this position.
