Area Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the Retail Service Merchandiser/Lead Merchandiser teams within the designated geographic region.

• Conduct interviews, hire, onboard, and train new team members.

• Manage performance evaluations, career progression, conflict resolution, and personnel matters; provide guidance and support.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business model, client and customer expectations, and project workflows.

• Occasionally engage in fieldwork to grasp project requirements and offer additional support.

• Ensure assigned project tasks are completed on schedule and deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Review timelines and relevant documentation; allocate tasks and confirm adequate support is in place.

• Track progress, audit project activities, troubleshoot issues, adjust resources, and guarantee the provision of necessary materials, supplies, and equipment.

• Collaborate with store personnel and teams to achieve merchandising excellence and fulfill objectives.

• Communicate observations, challenges, and business solutions to the Market Manager.

• Utilize web-based applications and retail reporting systems to oversee project work, profiles, assignments, mileage, expenses, attendance, and training.

• Prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to projects and teams.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of management and/or supervisory experience is required.

• Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or resets is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and leadership abilities.

• Proficient in reading and effectively communicating with others.

• Proven experience in working efficiently with web-based applications, email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the capability to drive for extended periods.

• Ability to operate a computer, paper cutter, copier, hammer, screwdriver, drill, case cutter, hand truck, and pallet jack.

• Must be able to climb and stand on a step stool or ladder.
