This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi, +1 more state.
• Lead and manage the Retail Service Merchandiser/Lead Merchandiser team in the designated geographic area, which includes interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, career development, conflict resolution, coaching, and support.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s business model, as well as client and customer expectations, along with project work processes.
• Periodically engage in fieldwork to comprehend project requirements and provide necessary backup support.
• Oversee assigned project work to ensure it is completed on time and meets high-quality standards.
• Review project schedules and documentation; allocate work and confirm adequate support is in place.
• Track progress, audit project activities, troubleshoot issues, resolve personnel challenges, and make resource adjustments as needed.
• Ensure the timely delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment for designated projects.
• Collaborate with store personnel and the team to achieve merchandising excellence, discuss schedules and modifications, meet objectives, and foster working relationships.
• Notify management about any unsafe acts or conditions.
• Report observations, issues, and business solutions to the Market Manager.
• Utilize web-based applications and retail reporting systems to oversee project notifications, documentation, profiles, assignments, progress, mileage, expenses, time and attendance, and training.
• Prepare, process, submit, and manage all documentation related to project work and the merchandising team.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent in the relevant industry is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of management and/or supervisory experience.
• Previous experience as a Sales agent, in retail, customer service, or resets is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills are essential.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively with others.
• Proficient in using web-based applications, email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive for extended periods is necessary.
• Capable of operating a computer, paper cutter, copier, hammer, screwdriver, drill, case cutter, hand truck, and pallet jack.
• Must be able to climb and stand on a step stool or ladder.
