Area Engineer – Central

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the marketing and adoption of TIC proprietary systems.

• Assess constructability limitations and pinpoint value engineering possibilities.

• Create and implement an annual business strategy for the promotion and sales of Tensar Solutions.

• Provide internal training, education, and technical support.

• Collaborate with Technology and Product Marketing to enable field testing and validation while relaying new information throughout the organization.

• Formulate and execute a business development strategy targeting Government agencies, Geotechnical Engineers, and Key National accounts.

• Offer project site evaluations and assistance as needed.

• Continuously inform the Area Sales Director about local competitive specification activities.

• Update the project pipeline database with newly specified projects in collaboration with the Business Development team.

• Review the project pipeline database and work with Regional Sales Managers to secure key project opportunities.

• Facilitate coordination between the engineering department and clients to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Tensar engineering services and systems.

• Actively engage in relevant industry associations, boards, committees, and similar organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer within the construction industry.

• Willingness to travel regionally 25% - 50% of the time.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

• Highly self-driven and a strong team collaborator.

• Proficient in scheduling, planning, organizing, problem-solving, time management, and prioritizing tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.

• Professional Licensure (P.E.) is required.
